Our master bathroom is almost finished....

Master bedroom Renovation....

We are building a master ensuite.  Things are constantly dusty around the house.  We'll scrape the ceiling, stain the beans, paint the room, put new window mouldings around and get new carpet.  For the bathroom, we're currently working on rough plumbing...  We'll see how it all works out!   

Sunset over Columbia River...

This is the new garden bed ENK constructed.  I wanted to capture the beauty of ENK's masterpiece but the sunset was just too beautiful.  Okay, sky.  You win this award tonight! 

white kitchen...

House update 8/2019...

Need to finish the railings and need new roofing.  ENK wants to extend the garage for obvious reasons and I'm slowly thinking about my little patch of landscaping work.  In the next months, Randy will start building his outdoor pizza oven for his senior project.  Oh the work never ends in this Vancouver house...

House update...

When you have an older house, there's always something to update.  This is Randy and dad changing out the outdoor light fixture!  

Progress on a shower wall...

ENK working hard on this shower wall...  He said it's not easy as he initially thought.  He chose the tiles, the trims and everything about this bathroom.  Why?  Because I first chose white tiles, white borders, white mosaic tiles and white on white everything.  He vetoed it down.  

Home Renovation phase I done!

Yes!  Finally it is finished.  ENK is still working on the bathroom downstairs... as expected, he's taking his sweet time!  We'll bring out some furniture out from the garage and make the downstairs bedroom for the girls.  Randy is bit upset that it's not "HIS" room but once the girls leave, it will eventually turn into Randy's room when we start upstairs renovation!  

Landscape Lighting done...

ENK didn't quite know how to do this but he successfully lit the yard!  The trees are illuminated and it's looking quite nice at dark! 

Floors done!

Finally, the floors are installed.  This is Cronin's White Oak (Cascadia Tumalo Lava Flow) Engineer Hardwood floors!
